Ching Mei Paper Co., Ltd. was founded in 1977. At its initial stage, production of plain paper tubes and supplying domestic weaving factories, plastic leather factories, adhesive tape factories, winding cloth, plastic leather, and tapes were its main businesses; insight of the high cost of importing P.O.Y paper tubes from Germany and Japan, and not being able to control time and quantity in resulting a great distress for chemical fiber plant in funding; accordingly we invest in production of P.O.Y, D.T.Y chemical fiber paper tubes to serve major domestic chemical fiber factories. In 1987, we established a professional paper tube and coreboard plant in Taoyuan Industrial Park to become the first paper tube company owned papermaking capacity.
1977
Company was founded and in the same year, successfully developed Indonesian export market and followed by Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia markets. In recent years, markets are developed in Japan, Australia, South Africa, South America, Africa and China respectively.
1987
The establishment of a professional paper tube and coreboard plant in Taoyuan Industrial Park to become the first paper tube plant with papermaking capacity.
1994
Earned the ISO9002 certification; subsequently committed capacity upgrades, raised production up to 5,000 tons with annual output of 60,000 tons. We will accelerate the overall level of automation to improve production efficiency and commitment to reduce carbon emissions in the future.
1995
In response to the demand of Indonesian market, in Jakarta, King Paper Co., Ltd., was established to produce paper tube to serve Indonesian local needs.
2001
Paper tube plant earned ISO9002 certification.
2002
Both papermaking plant and paper tube plant were revised for ISO2000 edition.
2006
Consolidated two plants into one ISO system.
2009
The revision to the 2008 version of the ISO to comply with the new provisions of the ISO requirements.
2013
Current capital amounted to NTD350 million with annual sales revenue of NTD800 million.
